Dear Resident of The Greens:
Welcome to our wonderful neighborhood! This webiste will tell you much about living in The Greens. This site contains:
· A copy of the By-Laws of The Greens Homeowners’ Association (HOA). The Greens is governed by an elected Board of Directors and committees to manage certain functions. You are encouraged to participate in the management of your new neighborhood and would be welcomed to open seats on the board or committees. New Board members are elected at the annual resident meeting which is held each October.
· A copy of the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, Reservations and Restrictions of The Greens HOA (CC&R’s). This document contains guidelines and regulations governing landscaping & architectural requirements or your property as well as possible changes to the exterior of your house or your yard.
· General information about our management company including address, contact information and where to send your monthly HOA dues.
· Rules and information for pool use. The pool is usually opened around May 1st and closes in September. You should have received a pool key with your house keys. This key unlocks the pool gates and both bathrooms (bottom locks). If you did not receive a key, please contact a member of the pool committee or Board of Directors. This key also unlocks the gate at the drainage area at the west end allowing access to Buena Vida Circle.
· Architectural Review Committee information. This committee must be contacted with any requests to change the exterior of your home, yard or landscaping. (Also covered in the CC&R’s provided).
· Committee information. The committees, and The Board of The Greens are all staffed by volunteers. We welcome you to participate in your new neighborhood by joining one of these committees.
· Landscape issues and how to report and use of the yellow request cards. Your front yard upkeep is provided by our contracted provider as part of your monthly HOA dues. If you need water leak repairs or other front yard maintenance, obtain and complete a yellow “Landscape Maintenance Project Request” card. These cards are to be placed in the box next to the mailboxes (on the light post) and will be reported to our landscape maintenance company.
· Trash pick-up is Friday mornings. Recycle pick-up is every other Friday (you can watch when your neighbors place their blue recycle bins out). The City requests you leave a minimum of five feet between the bins.
· Neighborhood Watch Program in place. Contact Tracy Thompson, Chair, Marilyn Artuso, Brad Jenkins, Jim McMahon, Critt Garner, Bertha Williams, David Noble or Mona Ruud if you see something that should be reported.
· The bulletin board by the mailboxes is an area where information may be shared with neighbors. If you wish to post an announcement, you must contact a Board member to be directed to the person in charge.
WELCOME! WE’RE GLAD TO HAVE YOU AS A NEIGHBOR!! If you have questions, please feel free to ask another resident, or a Board member.
