PROTOCOL FOR ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE

APPROVAL 2020

Per the Covenants (CC&R’s) of The Greens at Desert Hills HOA, Article Six –

If you are considering making a change to ANYTHING visible on your property, you must get approval from the Architectural Review Committee first.

Section 6.1 – Approval of the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) is required for ANY improvement.

Section 6.2 – An “Improvement” requiring the approval of the ARC shall mean and refer to, without limitation, the construction, reconstruction, remodeling, addition to or alteration of the exterior of any building, wall, fence of any exterior structure whatsoever located upon the property. This also includes the change of grade, or change of drainage pattern, landscaping and the removal of trees, plants and shrubs, and any change or alteration of any previously approved improvement, including any change of exterior appearance, color or texture.

Section 6.5 – Prior to making ANY improvements upon the property, or any part thereof including front and side yard landscaping, the person proposing the make the changes shall submit to the ARC a written plan. Written approval of the ARC must be obtained prior to any construction beginning. No improvements of any kind shall be erected, altered, placed or maintained with the property, or any part of the property, unless and until the final plans have received written approval by the ARC.

If you have any questions about altering anything on your property, ask the ARC first if approval will be needed.
